Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This policy explains what information we collect through the Free Preview form, why we collect it, and how it's handled while Orbit is in active development.

What we collect

When you run a Free Preview, we collect the details you submit: brand name, website URL, industry, country and city, main service, up to three optional competitor names, and an optional work email address.

We also automatically record a hashed version of your IP address and your browser's user agent string. These are used only to detect abuse — for example, automated bulk submissions — never to identify or track you personally.

Why we collect it

We use these details to create your private preview record, generate a unique preview link, and — as our AI testing pipeline comes online — to run AI visibility analysis using the brand and website information you provide. We don't use what you submit for any other purpose.

How your optional email is used

If you choose to share a work email address, we use it only to follow up about your preview or send your completed report once it's ready. We don't use it for marketing unless you separately opt in, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

How your data is stored

Preview submissions are stored in a secure, access-controlled database. Access is restricted to server-side systems we control; we don't expose this data through any public API, and preview pages are not indexed by search engines.

AI visibility results

As real AI testing becomes available, any results shown in your preview or report are generated using the brand, website and competitor information you submitted. These results reflect a sampled set of prompts tested at a specific point in time, and may vary by AI engine, model, location, context and future updates — they aren't guaranteed to be complete or permanent.

Payments

We don't currently process or store any payment information ourselves. When paid plans become available, payments will be handled directly by Stripe, a third-party payment processor, under its own privacy and security practices.

Data retention and deletion

We keep preview data for as long as needed to provide the service, or as required by law. You can request that we delete your submitted data at any time — see the contact details below.

Cookies and analytics

We don't currently use non-essential tracking or advertising cookies. If we introduce analytics in the future, we'll update this policy to reflect it.

Our approach to data protection

We aim to handle personal data responsibly and in line with recognized data protection principles, including data minimization and honoring deletion requests. Orbit is an early-stage product, and this policy will be expanded as our data practices, infrastructure and legal review mature — it should not be read as a complete or certified compliance statement under GDPR or any other framework.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
